The Cosmic Tree series is an exploration of the idea that the whole Universe is contained within the form, presence and body of the Tree. All 12 Cosmic Trees were completed during Lockdown, and are part of the current online virtual exhibition Lockdown Open at The Absent Gallery. These paintings became a meditation in how we can expand our thoughts and imagination despite physical restrictions.
Each original artwork has been handpainted using inks and acrylic paint on fine watercolour paper. Each painting will be sent to you framed and mounted in a white wood frame, and measures 22x27x3 cm.
